The JJJJound x ASICS Gel Kayano 14 ‘Silver Black’ marks the first collaboration between the Montreal design studio and Japanese sportswear brand. Staying true to the aesthetic of the shoe’s 2008 release date, the upper combines white open-mesh construction with shiny metallic silver overlays and contrasting black tiger stripes. Mismatched JJJJound and ASICS branding embellishes the sockliner and lateral heel of each shoe. The lifestyle runner rides on a cream-colored EVA midsole with visible Gel cushioning in the forefoot and heel.
